Information for Children and Young People

Voice To The Nations Church is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all children and young people.

Safety

We have a duty to keep children, young people and grown ups safe. We want you to be safe and feel safe.

If you ever feel unsafe or worried you can talk to someone you trust, your leader, your parents or our Safe Church person.

Respect

Everyone is welcome at Voice Church. Respect is treating everyone with fairness and kindness. Respect

is listening to each other and not leaving people out. Every person is unique and has their own characteristics,

strengths and challenges. At Voice Church everyone can contribute and feel safe to be themselves.

You can be a safe friend who helps and encourages others and speaks up when something is going wrong.

We're Listening

Your thoughts, views and ideas are important. You can have a say and be involved.

Children and young people are a valued part of the team. We will listen and act on your feedback.

Inform

We will give you information so you know how we work to keep you safe and what you can do if you feel unsafe.

We will help you to know how to speak up if you’re feeling unsafe or something is worrying you.

Your wellbeing is important, we will support you and give you information about support services that can help you.

Raising a Concern

If you would like to give feedback or tell us about something you can contact us anytime.

You can raise a concern about anything. It can be something serious, like your safety or the safety of another child or young person. It can also be something that worries you related to the programs, events or leaders. You have the right to speak up about bad or unsafe behaviour and have it taken seriously.
